Getting started
What is Krll?
A to-do app with an ocean in it. Every task you add drops a piece of litter into your personal aquarium. Finish it and the litter is cleaned up, you earn shells and the water gets clearer. Let tasks slip and the water clouds over.
How do I sign in?
No passwords. Continue with Apple, Google or Microsoft, or enter your email and type the one-time code we send you.
Which devices does Krll work on?
Krll is an iPhone app, currently in beta on TestFlight — tap Try Krll at the top of this page to join. Your private tasks sync between your Apple devices through your iCloud account.
Can I add tasks without opening the app?
Yes. The Home Screen widget has a quick-add field plus shortcuts to List, Home and My Page. A scheduled task can also run as a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, where you can mark it done without opening Krll.
Does Krll work with my calendar?
Yes. Tasks sync both ways with your iPhone Calendar, and you can import events from Google or Microsoft calendars that are set up on your iPhone.
How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?
We'd love to hear it. Send us a message from the Contact page — we read every one and reply within 48 hours.
The aquarium
Why is my water getting cloudy?
The aquarium reacts to how you treat your tasks. Adding tasks, letting them go overdue, changing a task's priority or deleting an unfinished task all add a little murk. Finishing tasks on time clears it, and high-priority tasks count the most.
What happens with the fish?
Every 10 tasks you finish brings a new fish of a random species to your aquarium. Fish hide when the water gets too murky — clean it up and they come back.
What if I cancel a task?
Its litter is removed from the aquarium. Cancelling doesn't earn shells, and it doesn't cloud the water the way deleting an unfinished task does.
What are shells and what can I do with them?
Shells are Krll's points. You earn them by completing tasks, keeping a daily streak and inviting friends. Collect enough to unlock new litter pieces for your collection, spend 1,000 on the Cleaner to reset murky water, or give them to a Community campaign.
Friends & community
How do donations work?
In Community you'll find featured ocean campaigns. Give shells to one and they count toward its goal — the shells you donate are turned into real money for real ocean projects. Gifts can't be undone, and giving shells never re-locks anything in your collection.
Can I share tasks with friends?
Yes. Add friends by Krll ID, from your contacts or by invite link, then share a project with them. Shared projects are end-to-end encrypted and need a connection to edit. On the free plan friends join as viewers; with Delphis they can edit too.
Plans & billing
Is Krll free? What does Delphis add?
Krll is free to use. Delphis is optional and arrives with the official launch — $2.99 a month or $24.99 a year (save 30%) — and adds no ads, no daily task limit, up to 20 projects, repeating tasks, your whole archive, custom colors, friends as editors and offline use.
How do I cancel, change plan or restore a purchase?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Change or cancel anytime in your Apple Account's subscription settings — in Krll, go to My Page › Your plan › Manage plan. On a new iPhone, tap Restore purchases to bring back a plan bought with the same Apple Account.
Is there a free trial?
There's no trial, because Krll itself is free. Use the free plan for as long as you like and upgrade to Delphis only if you want more, once it's available.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
Privacy & account
Is my data private?
Your private tasks are stored in your own iCloud account and sync between your Apple devices. Tasks you share with friends are end-to-end encrypted, so only the people in the project can read them — not even Krll. Contacts are matched with one-way hashes and never leave your phone in readable form. The free plan shows ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: open My Page, tap the settings button on your profile card to open Edit Profile, then tap Delete. Your account, shells, friends and shared tasks are deleted and you're signed out. Some records are kept for as long as the law requires, as described in our Privacy Policy, then permanently erased. Your private tasks stay in your own iCloud.
